An environment-test facility’s main wind and rain environmental testing facility may often be located outside. The ultimate goal is to meet Mil-Std-810 as well as other environmental testing requirements that a client may have.

Another facility may use, for example, a 20-ft salt fog chamber and allows wind and rain environmental testing to be performed indoors. Hence, this particular environmental test my be conducted regardless of outside weather conditions.
