What to look for when shopping for Fan Filter Units for Clean Rooms

You may need filter units that are self-contained, with motorized Supply Air Modules equipped with either HEPA or ULPA filters. These units may be used in either a horizontal or vertical flow position wherever clean air is needed including softwall Cleanrooms, Modular Hardwall Cleanrooms, or over conveyors, workstations, special equipment and freestanding machinery.


These units should be designed for easy connection to the building power system and are equipped with a pre-filter, four (4) seismic clips located at all corners for providing strong suspension points, and a solid-state variable speed control with RFI suppression.

Housings may be fabricated from 20-gauge steel with a white powder coat finish, or thermoformed plastic, aluminum, and stainless steel.
