The MSP from Spectrum Control series is a highly efficient surface mounted EMI power filter which combines a feed through capacitor, multilayer ceramics and ferrite beads. Rugged construction design enables parts to perform in industrial environments. The MSP series is ideally suited for application with high-populated PCBs that require high insertion loss in a wide frequency band while handling up to 7 amps. Applications include digital equipment, personal computers and peripherals, home appliances, vacuum cleaners, monitor and display units, switching power supplies and DC-DC converters.

* Designs require minimal PCB real estate
* Available in either metal or plastic cases
* Some models found to be IAW VDE 0565 Part 3
* Operating temperature range of –25°C to +85°C
