Company looking for two team members with experience in electronic and systems testing; EMC / EMI and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3). Chosen engineers will lead, coordinate and manage test efforts; preparing and writing test guidelines along with presenting test results at design reviews. They will have extensive interaction with various individuals in the organization while being exposed to various programs within the company (more experienced individuals will interact with customers and vendors -- and have more leadership responsibilities) Must be capable of working within diverse program management and IPT planning structures. Knowledge of TEMPEST design and testing desirable.
Type of work performed: System-level and hardware Electromagnetic Environmental Effects design; TEMPEST.
Provide company-wide E3 support to all design activities.
Interface with Systems Engineering to develop requirements and design details.
Support technical design lead and integrated product team leads.
Develop procedures and test approaches for preliminary engineering tests.
Working with Government customers, develop formal qualification test approaches and test plans and procedures.
Develop guidelines for Signal Integrity Analysis efforts (Ansoft, HSFF, Designer, SIWave, Agilent ADS, Hspice, Pspice, SpectraRF)
Brief program staffs and senior management on solutions to technical problems.
Work with Integrated Product Teams supporting multi-contractor programs.
BS / MS technical Degree - EE Physics along with 8 or more years of industry experience.
Must possess experience to quote; budget and run an E3 program with minimal supervision.
Must be capable of working within diverse program management and IPT planning structures.
Knowledge of Military EMC/EMI Specifications (MIL-STD-461 / MIL-STD-464 / MIL-STD-810) OR commercial equivalent.
Knowledge of TEMPEST design and testing desirable.
