Essential EMC Tools: Magnetic loop probe

Commercial probes:

Medium-size loop: 0.50" tip diameter


Small-size loop: 0.25" tip diameter


Large-size loop: 1.0" tip diameter


Electric Field Probe: Stub: 0.08" tip diameter


The above calibrated probes suitable for finding the source of RF and microwave emissions, identifying, and fixing EMC,EMI and RFI problems. The probe tips are only 0.11"(2.8 mm) thick, allowing the probe to be inserted into seams and gaps. They cost around $100 and are available from www.magneticsciences.com
