Here is a sample of the course outline from TTI's Introduction to Environmental Testing Distance Learning :
| Quote: |
For Whom Intended This course is intended for technical administration, purchasing, and inspection personnel, also any non-technical individuals who must work with technical documentation and/or interact with technical personnel. Distance learning is a valuable adjunct to "live" training, either on-site or in TTi's "open" courses. It also helps individuals who are unable to travel, or have only limited time periods to dedicate to training.
Course Description
This course will give individuals working in "hands-on" technical jobs with a better understanding of the theoretical principles on which their everyday activities are based.
Course describes various aspects of environmental testing and will benefit those individuals whose organizations perform or have environmental testing done on their products. The course introduces types of environmental testing including vibration, shock, climatic, combined environments and modal testing, then covers test specifications and procedures. Test fixtures and acoustic testing, instrumentation, data acquisition, data recording, storage, reporting and safety concerns are discussed.
The course consists of 20 lessons. The material is presented on a PC-format multimedia CD containing reading assignments, video segments, review questions, problems and quizzes to measure the participant's understanding of the material presented. |
