Some questions arose on the availibility of Sonnet Suite software: Whether it easy to learn/use? Is it accurate? What about PCB radiations simulations? THe purpose is to use it for microstrip antennas, PCB radiations and planar analysis.
Googling for some clues, there are some reports that Sonnet software results were very good. One engineer designed 2x2 patch array for 12 GHz feeded by coupling thru aperture. The design was very complicated and engineer was suprised when his measurements were almost the same with simulation. He reccomend this software. It's also repored to be user friendly and easy to learn. |
