The new BNX022 measures only 12mm x 9mm x 3mm and weighs 0.8g, making it significantly smaller and thinner than previous versions and other manufacturers’ filters. Further, the enhanced EMI filter achieves the highest level of noise suppression amongst surface mount type products. Noise suppression in DC power supply lines helps improve the performance in a variety of entertainment, industrial and technology equipment including flat panel displays, DVD players and servers. Typically, entertainment and industrial electronic equipment utilizes leaded EMI suppression filters. However, the increasing demands for higher current power supply lines coupled with the desire to reduce circuit board space has made surface mount EMI Filters the preferred component.

Murata’s surface mount EMI filter series with a large insertion loss frequency band range (1MHz to 1GHz) and a rated voltage of 50V and a current of 10A, is available for the sample price of $3.50.
