We employ 650 personnel on 11 contracts; approximately 40% are scientists or engineers, 45% technicians, and 15% administrative, supervisory or clerical.
Job Description: Systems engineering support to International Space Station (ISS) program Office for EM Compatibility. Support the ISS Effects Panel for review of EMC Test procedures, reports, EMC waivers & deviations, change requests. Support ISS EME manager at technical interchange meetings with ISS International Partners (IP) & test support at IP facilities (Europe, Russia, Japan). Review & assess impact of proposed changes to ISS EME requirements on ISS systems. Provide EMC analysis of proposed ISS hardware designs and support to design reviews.
Requirements: BS in Engineering or relevant field: 15 years relevant experience. Training in EMC test and analysis. EMC analyses for integrating hardware into existing aerospace systems. Knowledge of ISS electromagnetic compatibility requirements desired. Certification as EMC engineer by National Assoc. of Radio & Telecommunication Engineers preferred.
Special Requirements: Willing to travel overseas to attend IP meetings. Must be a United States Citizen.
Salary: $68,000 to $85,000
