Combining temperature/humidity chambers with, for example, electro-dynamic vibration facilities allow test engineers to see how different environments affect each other. For example, vibration can induce heat and shear/mechanical stress that, when combined with ambient heat (or cold) may have deleterious effects on machinery or equipment.

The chambers should have rapid rates of temperature change and the vibration facilities capable of handling 18,000 force-pound loads, with frequencies up to 2000 Hz.
