In an environmental test chambers varying in area from 0.06 cu. meters (3500 cu. ft.), temperatures generated may be as cold as an evening on the planet Mars or as blazing hot as a morning on the planet Mercury.

Relative humidity may range from that of a desert, 2%, to a tropical forest, 100%. Look for an environmental-test facility offering several environmental testing chambers which specialize in temperature testing. A large-sized chamber may be 25ft deep x 15ft wide x 15ft tall (this type may be a drive-in environmental test chamber). Further, this large chamber may provide over 240 Hp of refrigeration, with 240,000 KVA of heat and a 42 KVA Steam Generator for humidity test requirements.
