What type of equipment might a measurement-testing lab need?

We browsed ELE International's web site and found a range of testing equipment that may be be a fairly good example (though perhaps not entirely comprehensive):

Quote:
Analytical equipment

* Flame photometers
* Spectrophotometers
* Colorimeters
* Atomic absorption spectrophotometer
* Gas chromatograph
* Kjeldahl apparatus
* Soxlet apparatus

Laboratory instrumentation:

* Microscopes
* Temperature, pH and Conductivity
* Ion selective electrodes
* Water analysis

General equipment

* Balances
* Ovens, Incubators and Furnaces
* Autoclaves
* Washing equipment
* Stirrers and shakers
* Sieves and sieve shakers
* Glassware
* Laboratory consumables
