Qualifications:

BSEE or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years experience in the fields of product safety, and/or
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Experience representing companies to compliance bodies and customers relative to safety and EMC
Skilled in the use of oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and similar electronic test
equipment Experience in the field of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a plus. Experience in obtaining global regulatory approvals of electronic products a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Strong computer skills relative to the preparation of technical reports

Duties (Responsibilities):

Participate in product design reviews to assess compliance with product safety, EMC, EPA, and FDA regulations.
Continue to increase knowledge base to remain current with applicable global regulatory standards Interface with various regulatory agencies such as UL, CE or CSA to obtain and maintain regulatory approvals for our products.

Perform complex tests on electronic products utilizing sophisticated test
equipment to assess compliance with regulatory standards

Serve as a technical resource to senior management to assure Printronix products are in compliance with global regulatory requirements
