This is Silent Solutions' one-day workshop. It will hopefully provide students with clear applications, theory and demonstrations for successfully designing mechanical enclosures for acceptable system emissions and immunity performance.
Main topics are:
grounding at the PCB (printed circuit board) & enclosure, system ground maps, PCB component placement & control drawings, enclosure & cable shielding, PCB device "cans", resonant slots and enclosures, heatsinks, unintentional antennas ... and connector, screw, and conductive gasket spacing.
