USP 797 is a Federally mandated law which raises the hospital industry to a higher level of sterility.

Billions of dollars have been exhausted dealing with nosocmial infections in the past five years -- this led the U.S. Pharmacopeia and FDA to question why. Both agencies, hence, started to investigate the steps of compounded sterile preparations and found many deficiencies. This discovery led them to authorize the USP 797 standards.

Clean rooms built to USP 797 can assist hospital pharmacies. A completely aseptic clean room system is the answer to this mandate.
