Low-Noise Electronic System Design is a superb textbook -- well worth it's $140.00 price tag.

I have used several of the text's circuit schemas in myriad components -- from CD players, Digital-to-analog converters, data-acquisition systems and others -- with resounding success.

The book's last update was in 1993. But most concepts are still fresh and equally valid in todays electronic environment.
