Basic Requirements:

Know your Min. Internal Dimensions required of Oven

Know Max. and Min. Temperatures (range) Oven will Ever be Used At

Know What Temperature Uniformity Is Required?

Know what Temperature Accuracy is Required?

Know rough details of your Application (e.g.: Epoxy curing, Moisture drying, UL testing, Aging of electronic components and devices, and other processes and testing requirements). For example:

Will any process involve Flammable Gas or Vapors?

Does Process require a Controlled Atmosphere, like Inert Nitrogen for Dry-packaging of electronic components and other possible application requiring a protective inert atmosphere?

Does Process Require "Clean Room Class" Capability, like Standard Class 100 or Class 1000 for Curing Polymide Coatings, Moisture Drying or Photo Resist Coatings?

    Will process dissipate any heat?

Will process contain any corrosive chemicals?

Does Oven need Stainless Steel Interior, or will high-temp. Paint be okay?

Is One-Pass Airflow a Requirement for the process?

Location of Item Being Processed can Interfere with Oven Airflow - Most forced air ovens have horizontal air convection. Is this adequate, or is vertical airflow a requirement.

What electrical power is required from the oven vs. what you have available?

Are any of these options required:

    Window in Door

    Programmable Temperature Controller

    Circular Chart Recorder

    RS-232 or IEEE-488 Data Interface

    Special Feed-Through Ports

    Forced Exhaust

    Extra Shelves
