TEST magazine is published six times a year. TEST provides a forum for the exchange of state-of-the-art ideas and information among test engineering professionals. TEST is edited for the interests of, and distributed free to, those who perform and/or directly supervise physical/mechanical testing and environmental simulation, usually for the purpose of proving design prototypes, and for those who manufacture equipment for those types of testing. Such testing occurs in virtually all industries, and our subscriber base reflects that: we are likely to have subscribers at Quaker Oats, Ford Motor Company, and NASA -- and everything in between. TEST offers tutorial-level columns and articles; more deeply technical columns and articles; philosophical discussions about testing concepts and standards; articles discussing the pros and cons of controversial and/or cutting-edge testing technology. Each issue contains new products/literature; news of the testing industry, testing courses, workshops, and seminars; a small buyers' guide-like listing of companies offering testing products or services. One issue a year is largely devoted to an extensive buyers' guide.
